About Jackals Club Lacrosse

Our History

Jackals Club Lacrosse was established in 2002 to elevate the talent of the girls’ lacrosse program in Montgomery County, Maryland. The goal was to nurture, teach fundamentals, and build on the concepts to have an ‘all inclusive multi faceted lacrosse program’ from elementary through high school for girls that wanted to advance their game of lacrosse by being exposed to some of the best teachers of the sport while competing in elite environments. The Club, and the umbrella organization; Champions of Tomorrow was founded by head coach Jenna Ries. Coach Ries played field hockey for the University of Maryland. She continued her passion for field hockey and lacrosse after college through coaching. She is the former varsity field hockey and lacrosse coach at Quince Orchard High School and is the current Athletic Director and varsity field hockey and lacrosse coach at The Academy of the Holy Cross where she has coached the lady Tartans.
